At the 64 th Berlin International Film Festival in 2014,Diao Yinan won the Golden Bear Award and the Silver Bear Award at the Berlin International Film Festival for his black film " Black Coal,Thin Ice ".Diao Yinan graduated from the Literature Department of the Central Academy of Drama.At first he was active in the industry as a screenwriter.Afterwards,a strong passion for expression made him decide to become a director.On the director's creative path,Diao Yinan has been trying to find a balance between commercialized and authored expressions,so that the film can not only satisfy the public's viewing interest,but also resort to the expression of self-emotion.With his previous obsession with detective novels and the passion for film noir,Diao Yinan chose to use black words to satisfy his double expectations.On the one hand,he inherited the image expression methods commonly used in classic film noir,borrowing the lighting and photography techniques in film noir to present the blackness of the film from an external level.On the other hand,he focused on the unique domestic film censorship environment and the aesthetic psychology of the domestic audience,weakening the blackness in the film from the dialectical description of the theme and characters,the addition of puzzles in the narrative and the extensive use of imagery,etc.His films are filled with humanistic care and subtle restraint of oriental aesthetics,as far as possible to resonate with domestic audiences.And in the four works of the successive directors,he insisted on such appropriation strategy of black discourse,and imprinted his film with a profound personal style,thus forming a unique "black" style.Therefore,I take the "black discourse" in Diao Yinan's film as the research object,Through the methods of comparative research and text research,with the help of the relevant theories of Film noir and Neo Film-Noir,,Analyze from both horizontal(With western Film noir)and vertical(The evolution of Diao's movies)aspects,try to sort out the performance and application strategy of Diao Yinan's black discourse.In the introductory part of the article,the author will elaborate the research background and significance of the topic,sort out the research status of Film noir and Diao's film,define the scientific discourse of the research object black discourse,and summarize the research methods and innovations of the thesis.The first chapter aims to refine and summarize the black theme in Diao's black discourse.In the creation,theindividual survival status of the transition society is the focus of Diao s works.He tries not to involve too much political metaphors and ideologies,but captures the state of tragic,helpless,or struggling outbreak of a small individual struggling.In order to explore the hidden and great parts of human nature through images.The second chapter will analyze the perspective and form of the narrative in the film,study the Imagery in the film,and from the perspective of gender narrative,explore Diao ' s misappropriation of the typical image of "Femme fatale ".The third chapter analyzes the black aesthetic appeal in Diao 's film from three aspects: physical space,visual elements of classic film noir and oriental poetic aesthetics.In the final chapter,through dialectical thinking about commercial art,combined with the summary of Diao 's black discourse inheritance and breakthrough,some thoughts are given to the creation of domestic Film noir,in order to contribute to the future development of domestic Film noir.
