Developing the Chinese language sense of Chinese learners who learn Chinese as the second language is the core goal and basic task of teaching in the teaching of Chinese as a second language.Correctly,grasping the rhythm of modern Chinese will help that Chinese learners improve their Chinese language sense.Chinese metrical poetry places great emphasis on metric and rhythm.In recitation,Zhu Guangqian believed that "reciting" is mainly used in the communicative language and modern poetry and focuses on expressing the rhythm of language.The Chinese new metrical poetry,the modern poetry of paying attention to rhythm,uses modern vernacular and modern Chinese as writing materials,pursues natural rhythm,and can reflect the rhythm characteristics of modern Chinese to a certain extent.Therefore,in the practice of Chinese international education,modern Chinese metrical poetry could be used as an effective learning material for Chinese language sense.How to determine the rhythmic units of the Chinese new metrical poetry and the sequence of units rhythmic units form is one of the key points of the study of Chinese new metrical poetry.However,the existing related research is mainly qualitative research,many results,especially the result of the "dun" rhythm theory about its rhythm unit has not been agreed.Therefore,this paper first uses quantitative linguistic research ideas and methods,bases on the existing research of poets,combines qualitative and quantitative research methods,takes 100 new rhythmic,poems as samples to observe and discuss the characteristics of poetic rhythm units.uses Menzerath-Altman law to model,collect the rhythm data of poetry,and finally determine the method of dividing the rhythm unit of the Chinese new metrical poetry.The results show that:(1)Verse Line(with dun as the calculation unit)-Dun(with Chinese character as the calculation unit)-Chinese character,the rhythmic unit hierarchy sequence cannot fit with Menzerath-Altman law.(2)Verse Line(with dun as the calculation unit)-Dun(with word as the calculation unit)-Word,the rhythmic unit hierarchy sequence fit well with Menzerath-Altman law.Based on this,it is believed that the rhythmic sequence,"Verse Line-Dun-Word",is more scientific andreasonable at present.In other words,"Verse Line","Dun" and "Word" are adjacent rhythm units,and form a continuous rhythm level.In order to verify the results of the data,we took "Farewell to Cambridge" as a sample,divided the rhythm units of this poem based on the sequence of rhythm units of "Verse Line-Dun-Word".Subsequently,we randomly selected ten local middle and advanced level Chinese learners as subjects of this study in Mokpo,Korea,and conducted the experiment of learning new rhythmic poems to cultivate Chinese language sense.The results show that training the rhythm of Chinese new metrical poetry could help Chinese learners to improve their phonological perceptual ability,grammatical expression ability and semantic comprehension ability and so on,and then could help them to cultivate Chinese language sense.
