This paper selects a professional paper on network security from ACM Computing Surveys(ACM CSUR),an authoritative journal in the computer field, for translation practice. In view of the problems in translation practice, such as conversion between abstract words and concrete words, nominalization, differences in sentence structure, voice conversion, pronoun ambiguity, metaphor and culture, etc.,this paper from the perspective of three-dimensional conversion at the micro-practical level of eco-translatology analyzes and solves the problems from three levels:language dimension, communication dimension and culture dimension, and evaluates the practice from the three dimensions. In order to adapt to the diverse translation ecological environment, the specific translation strategies adopted in this paper are as follows: the adaptation & selection of language dimension includes the mutual transformation of abstract words and concrete words, and the transformation of part of speech(nominalization);sentence structure transformation and voice transformation at sentence level;the adaptation & selection in communication dimensions include translation of multi-translated terms, logical conversion The adaptive selection of cultural dimension mainly discusses the literal translation and free translation of computer metaphorical terms on the basis of “cultural common core”.Through this translation practice,I find that the three-dimensional translation method of eco-translatology,which used to be mostly used for cultural texts,is also applicable to professional scientific and technological texts. This translation study aims to expand the application scope of eco-translatology in practice.
