Tourism Protection Of Traditional Culture In Yao Village From The Perspective Of Cultural Memory Theory

As a living carrier of traditional culture,ethnic villages retain the gene of ethnic culture relatively completely,which directly reflects the living and social conditions of the people in each historical period.However,industrialization,urbanization,informatization and environmental degradation pose a serious threat to the traditional culture of ethnic villages.More and more villagers begin to forget their own culture.The loss of memory,wrong memory,disabled memory and broken memory of traditional culture promote the rapid change of traditional culture.So it is particularly important to excavate and awaken cultural memory and promote the identification and protection of traditional culture.Tourism is the era choice of traditional culture protection,and cultural connotation is the core supporting elements of tourism value promotion.Therefore,this paper chooses Goulan Yao village in Yongzhou City,Hunan Province as the research object,aiming to explore the tourism protection path of traditional culture.The research is divided into three parts,eight chapters:The first part includes chapter one and chapter two.The first chapter introduces the background,purpose and significance of the research,summarizes the research progress of traditional culture protection and tourism development at home and abroad,and introduces the research methods and research routes.The second chapter expounds the analysis framework of cultural memory theory and cultural semiotics theory,and clarifies and defines the related concepts of traditional culture,tourism and tourism protection.The second part is the basic part of the thesis,including chapter three,chapter four and chapter five.The third chapter defines the case area and explains the general situation of tourism development of Goulan Yao village.The fourth chapter takes the cultural memory theory as the analysis framework,explains the types and characteristics of the traditional culture of Goulan Yao village,and extracts the most representative traditional cultural symbols of Goulan Yao village.The fifth chapter analyzes the protection and activation of traditional culture in tourism development from the perspective of tourism resources,tourism facilities,culture and tourism industry and tourism publicity,and summarizes that the tourism activation and utilization of the traditional culture of Goulan Yao village is still in the primary stage of protective development.The third part is the core part of the thesis,including chapter six and chapter seven.The sixth chapter focuses on the four protection and inheritance dilemmas faced by the traditional culture of Goulan Yao village in the tourism development,that is,The protection consciousness of villagers is weak,and the landscape of villages is seriously damaged;the inheritors are scarce and faulted,and the successors of cultural inheritance are few;the tourism products are not developed properly,and the traditional culture is distorted and weakened;the experience management level is backward,and the contradiction of interest subjects is prominent..Under the guidance of problems,combined with the theoretical framework of cultural memory,the sixth chapter puts forward the tourism protection path of the traditional culture of Goulan Yao Village: First,memory recognition,reshaping the charm of traditional culture mechanism;Second,memory inheritance,building traditional culture inheritance system;Third,memory innovation,promoting the transformation of traditional culture inheritance;Fourth,memory subject,balancing the distribution of interests of village residents.In short,under the framework of the theory of cultural memory,this paper makes an empirical study on the tourism protection of the traditional culture of Goulan Yao village by using the method of fieldwork,and makes a preliminary discussion on the effective integration path of the cultural protection and tourism development of the ethnic villages.In practice,it is hoped that the relevant departments will pay attention to the cultural memory of ethnic villages,or provide reference for tourism development focusing on the protection of traditional culture.
