Research On The Network Auspicious Images In The Folklore Of Chinese New Year

With the change of social and cultural forms and the progress of science and technology,it's been common occurence to replace words with images as the subject of information exchange on social media platforms,as evidenced by people sending auspicious images to pray,bless or share on festivals.It's fair to say that this has become a "fashion" and "popular" way of socializing.Obviously,the network auspicious image in the festival folk custom has both the continuation of the traditional culture and the publicity of the new era spirit.This is a subject worth studying.With the main research methods of literature review,image analysis and network field investigation,the examination and reflection on network auspicious image are carried out according to relevant theories of semiotics,image science,folklore and art science,identifying and analyzing its development background and propensity,as well as the language style and connotation characteristics.In this way,the origin of the modern network auspicious image and the transmutation of symbol form and cultural concept are explored.The basis of the evolution of network auspicious image is firstly reviewed.Its development background is described from the tradition folk customs and auspicious symbols to the social changes brought about by the development of network technology and the prosperity of network images.The application and type of auspicious images are then summarized through case study of big data and WeChat groups.Secondly,the formal characteristics of network auspicious images in the festival folk custom are emphatically explored.The discussion is conducted from three aspects,namely the digital composition of images,the continuous reconstruction of traditional symbols and the integration of new symbols,supplemented by new door god,new paper-cut and new post as in-depth study cases to summarize and analyze the typical formal language features of network auspicious images.In part three,the connotation expression of network auspicious image(including the entertainment spirit,aesthetic appeal,artistic concept and the adjunctive relation of image)is explored to conclude the new ideas and connotations contained therein.The meaning generation of network auspicious image is discussed in part four from the perspective of positive value and existing problems,with corresponding conclusions being drawn.According to this paper,as a product of modern technology and culture,networkauspicious image is as well a symbol of traditional cultural symbols keeping pace with the times.Based on the traditional auspicious culture's symbol characteristics,etiquette paradigm,praying psychology and artistic pursuit,the network auspicious image achieves a series of self reconstruction.With the new forms,meanings and cultural characteristics,it assumes substantial publicity and broad coverage,which is embodiment of the new spirit of the times.
