In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s economy,Chinese culture has spread more and more around the world.Chinese culture is broad and profound,because China’s vastness is also one of the three largest in the world.There are many kinds of festivals in China and different cultural customs,so China’s cultural form is very rich.Thai people’s knowledge of Chinese culture is not comprehensive enough,and the Chinese culture they have learned is only a few of them.Many Thais understand Chinese culture only from textbooks and various media,but they do not fully understand the source and connotation of culture,which is easy to misinterpret culture.The understanding of cultural vocabulary is only to understand the meaning of words,without knowing the source of these cultural vocabulary.This phenomenon is easy to cause some misunderstandings to cultural vocabulary.This article starts with the traditional Chinese holiday vocabulary that appears in the textbook of Chinese as a foreign language,and summarizes these traditional holiday vocabulary.Taking the third volume of "Experiencing Chinese",Lesson 31,"Let’s decorate the room" as the starting point,it is aimed at Chinese as a foreign language Intermediate-level comprehensive classroomsare designed for classroom teaching,from a more comprehensive perspective,allowing students to establish an overall impression of the vocabulary in traditional Chinese festivals and the main traditional Chinese festivals,and establish a complete concept of traditional Chinese festivals.The main contents of this article are the following four parts:The first chapter is an introduction,which introduces the reasons for selecting the topic,the significance and purpose of the topic,literature review and research methods.The literature review is the study of cultural vocabulary teaching in Chinese language teaching for foreigners,cultural teaching research in Chinese teaching in Thailand,and traditional Chinese festivals.Research and traditional Chinese festivals are studying Chinese teaching.The second chapter is based on the teaching design of Chinese vocabulary teaching principles,Chinese vocabulary teaching methods and textbook survey data.According to the data of the textbook,the relevant vocabulary of the five Chinese textbooks is counted and summarized.The third chapter is the theme part of this article.It carries out instructional design on traditional Chinese holiday vocabulary,including instructional design preparation,instructional design ideas and instructional design cases.The fourth chapter is the reflection and summary of the teaching design this time,reflecting on the shortcomings of this teaching design and the summary of the teaching design.
