Research On Ideological And Political Education Of Hunan People’s Revolutionary University (1949-1953)

Ideological and political education is the foundation and lifeline of all the work of the Communist Party of China.During the new democratic revolution,the ideological and political education of the Communist Party of China played an important role in winning the final revolution.In the early period of new China,with the change of social and political environment,the ideological and political education of the Communist Party of China has changed to some extent on the basis of not changing the essence of Marxism.Ideological and political education develops with the development of the times.In the new era,continuous innovation and development of Ideological and political education is also of great significance to the development of contemporary China’s political economy.This paper takes Hunan people’s revolutionary University in 1949-1953 as the research object,through a large number of historical data collection,collation and induction,intends to present the historical situation of Ideological and political education in Hunan revolutionary University,and then summarizes the historical experience and enlightenment through analysis,so as to provide some reference for the ideological and political education work today.This paper mainly discusses from four chapters and two aspects,through expounding the background,development,operation and teaching of Hunan people’s revolutionary University,combining with the theory of Ideological and political education.In the ideological and political theory education and practice education,Hunan people’s revolutionary University carried out ideological transformation and political training for the students,namely the old social intellectuals and officials,so as to train them into the new cadres of revolution and social construction needed by the Communist Party of China.This paper summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of Ideological and political education in Hunan people’s revolutionary University in the early period of new China,mainly including the following points: first of all,ideological and political education has played a positive role in the ideological transformation of students,trained a large number of CPC cadres to make great contributions to the revolution and construction of Hunan,and laid a good foundation for Hunan cadre education in the early period of new China.But there are also some shortcomings,mainly in the process of Ideological and political theory education.First,the intellectual policy of the Communist Party of China has not been implemented,and there has been a left tendency in the ideological transformation.Second,because the revolutionary university itself is a short-term cadre training school,there is a lack of systematic learning and teaching methods,which makes the effectiveness of students in the ideological transformation and political training discount.The historical experience from Hunan people’s revolutionary University and the enlightenment to the present era are mainly reflected in the cadre education: first,the ideological education of cadres should adopt the method of combination of development and criticism;second,the theoretical study of cadre education must be systematized;third,the education and teaching should pay attention to the combination of theory and practice;fourth,the attitude of combination of leniency and seriousness It can strengthen the effect of Ideological and political education.By absorbing these valuable historical experience and enlightenment,in the new era and under the new historical conditions,our party’s ideological and political education work should pay more attention to continuous reform and innovation,and cultivate qualified and reliable socialist builders and successors in the new era.
