Traditional Chinese Festivals In The Role Of Ideological And Political Education And Its Implementation

With the development of the cultural globalization，a large numberof western festivals were introduced into our country. They werewelcomed by most of the universitys students. In comparison, ourtraditional festivals were stressed and even forgotten as time passed byand by. According to this situation, the paper tries to carry out theeducation of the traditional festival in the angle of the ideological andpolitical education in universities so as to promote and develop ourtraditional culture. At the same time promoting the peoples moral leveland the prosperity and development of the socialist culture withChinese characteristics. The structure and the content of this article aredistributed as follows:The first chapter is the basic theory research, This part mainlyintroduced the connotation, features and the origin of the traditionalfestival and then analysed its present situation in the university, and thendiscussed the internal causes of the current situation. At last laying thefoundation for the full case analysis. The third chapter is also the last chapterof this article, mainly discussed the basic principle and the detail waysof how to carry out the education of the traditional festival in the angleof the ideological and political education in universities. This is also thepractical significance and final aim of the research.
