English reading is the embodiment of comprehensive ability and plays an important role in English test.Therefore,for teachers,it is necessary to teach not only the content but also the learning skills in the process of English reading teaching to form a good habit of learning.However,at present,the teaching effect of English reading in middle school does not meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard,and there are still many problems.As a teaching form that keeps pace with the times,flipped classroom updates the traditional teaching method,caters to the personalized learning trend,and provides the new direction for English reading teaching.This paper verifies the effectiveness of flipped classroom teaching mode in junior high school English reading,and puts forward some suggestions for future research.The problems to be solved in this study are as follows:1.What is the current situation of junior high school students' English reading learning? Is it feasible to apply the flipped classroom teaching mode to junior high school English reading teaching?2.How to construct a specific flipped classroom teaching model in junior high school English reading teaching and apply it to teaching practice?3.Is it effective to apply flipped classroom teaching mode in junior middle school English reading teaching?The author chooses a natural class of a junior high school in Harbin as the experimental object.Before the experiment,the author understands the current situation of English reading teaching and the existing level of the experimental class through interview and test one;During the experiment,the new flipped classroom mode was adopted in the teaching mode of the experimental class.After the experiment,the author used test two to test the difference between the two reading scores,and understood the changes and influences of flipped classroom on the students of the experimental class from the four dimensions of emotional attitude,acceptance,method feedback and effect evaluation through the questionnaire.Through investigation and research,the author finds that the flipped classroom teaching model can help to improve students' academic performance,develop students' learning interest.In addition,it can make the students learn more actively and reducestudents' reading anxiety.What's more,most students give positive valuations to the flipped reading class.In conclusion,this research shows that to apply the flipped classroom teaching model in the junior high school English reading teaching has practical significance.
