| Memory is an ancient topic,and the main field of memory research has been psychology for quite a long time.In recent decades,it has been favored by humanities and social sciences,social theory and cultural research.The relationship between literature and memory is as old as it was before it entered the eyes of contemporary researchers.In current literature and memory research,traumatic memory,cultural memory,individual memory,collective memory and intertextuality are often the key words.The ethics of memory has been hotly discussed in the fields of philosophy and its branches,ethics,sociology and history for quite a long time,but it has not received much attention from literary researchers until recent years.Taking kazuo ishiguro’s novels as the object,the research should be interdisciplinary with the help of the knowledge and methods of psychology,ethics,sociology,narrative ethics and other disciplines.Select kazuo ishiguro’s novels as the research at the core of the text,because the memory is always the focus of kazuo ishiguro’s novels,its attitude to memory,forgotten speculative shows a bud in the reason of ethical morality,in the form of discourse construction deeply analyze the mystery of the human memory,fit in the narrative of literature to explore the topic of memory of ethics.Through the close reading of the text,this paper focuses on the ethical relationship among the author,narrator,character and reader in the whole process of literary narration.Focusing on the memory of Ishiguro,the ethics of remembering,the ethics of forgetting and the dimensions of memory acceptance,this paper studies the ethics of memory.Although this paper focuses on the memory world of kazuo Ishiguro,the ethics of memory and acceptance of memory ethics,in fact,they are interrelated and mutually corroborated.The memory world of kazuo ishiguro shows the ethical consciousness of memory between the author and the narrator.The deeper level is to explore what should be remembered in the literary narrative.The ethics of memory expresses the presentation of memory narrative and the ethical consciousness in memory narrative.It is a discussion on whether something should be remembered and how to construct memory.The purpose of the acceptance of memory ethics is to propose that in the interaction of literary narration,an ethical community of memory can be constructed for the author,the reader and the human community in a broader sense,and to help build a community of Shared future for mankind.On the whole,in addition to the introduction andconclusion,a total of three chapters.The introduction part summarizes the research status,significance of topic selection and innovation of research methods of kazuo ishiguro’s memory ethics in his novels at home and abroad.In the conclusion,based on the current context,we believe that based on the pursuit of a community with a Shared future for mankind,we should clarify the ethical standards for memory and pursue a better future.Finally,the deficiencies in the research are explained and the future research is prospected.The three chapters of the main body discuss the possibility of memory ethics in literary narration from the dimensions of kazuo ishiguro’s memory world,the ethics of remembering,the ethics of forgetting and the acceptance of memory ethics.Memories in it for the whole literature narrative ethics provides a relatively comprehensive and interrelated perspective,the study of literature and memory paradigm practice significance attempt,of course,in the process of marginal effect will also be kazuo ishiguro’s novels provide a useful perspective to literary appreciation,prompt people to pay more attention to the memory of reading ethical issues. |
