The Design And Research Of Wayfinding System In Simu Town Take Datong Yu Village As An Example

Under the background of the country's vigorous promotion of global tourism and urban-rural integration,the construction of special towns is developing rapidly.The town wayfinding system is a carrier for providing information services for people.It is an important part of the special town,in addition to meeting basic wayfinding functions.In order to support the work of Simu Town to apply for a national historical and cultural town,this study will start from analyzing the special culture of Simu Town,and trying to make a set of wayfinding system schemes in line with local cultural characteristics.And providing reference for the deepening design of the wayfinding signs of the follow-up villages in the town.This paper firstly summarizes the design experience of the wayfinding system in excellent special town at home and abroad through the method of literature research and case analysis,and then make a systematic analysis of the environmental composition,traffic structure,historical special,cultural special,residential characteristics and material cultural heritage of Simu Town through the method of field research.And then listing,extracting and summarizing the design elements of each village through the method of classification analysis,.in order to customize the unified design ideas and design methods for the wayfinding system of every village.Finally,taking Datong Yu Village in Simu Town as an example,designing a set of the wayfinding system that is suitable the conditions of Datong Yu Village and the regional cultural characteristics of Simu Town,under meetig the five principles which are the standard unification,clear instructions,reasonable layout,clear hierarchy and meeting regional culture.The difference in regional culture determines the difference between the special towns.Investigating the different inner appeals of residents and tourists,and integrate into the local history,culture and spiritual outlook,in order to bringing the expected experience to users,and design the wayfinding system that meeting the special town.
