A Study On The Names Of Suzhou Dishes For Chinese Teaching

The dish name is the language expression of the dish and the language shell of the dish.Learning the names of Chinese dishes is not only an important way for foreigners to understand Chinese culture,but also one of the important ways for them to learn Chinese.The name of Suzhou dishes is the language expression of Suzhou dishes and an important carrier of Suzhou food culture.Learning the name of Suzhou dishes is of great significance for foreigners studying,living and working in Suzhou to understand Suzhou culture,and it is also an important way to improve their Chinese level.This thesis screens the name of Suzhou dishes by means of field investigations,online investigations and finding classics related to Suzhou food culture.The selected Suzhou cuisine dishes names are used as the basic corpus.Firstly,from the perspective of linguistics,the pronunciation,grammatical structure and Chinese characters in the name of Suzhou cuisine dishes are described and analyzed.Then,from the perspective of culture,the close relationship between the name of Suzhou dishes and the regional culture of Suzhou was analyzed.In the third part of the thesis,120 foreigners from all walks of life in Suzhou were surveyed through questionnaire surveys,and their awareness of the names of Suzhou dishes and Chinese characters were counted.The fourth part of the thesis takes the statistical results of the questionnaire as the teaching content,and carries out teaching design from three dimensions:situational teaching,Chinese character teaching and cultural teaching.It integrates language and culture into the classroom,which has certain reference value for Chinese teaching in Suzhou.
