| The overlapping adjective is an expressive grammar method.It is an important expression in Chinese and it has important pragmatic values.This article combines ontology research with Chinese teaching practice,and it aims to probe into the application of overlapping adjectives in the forms of AA and AABB in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL).The introduction part introduces the content and method of this research.It also briefly presents the results of ontology research on overlapping adjectives and the achievements that the study of TCFL has made.The first chapter mainly summarizes the results of ontology research on overlapping adjectives.It looks into the overlapping forms and abilities of adjectives,reveals the syntactic and grammatical meanings of overlapping adjectives formed by AA and AABB.It also proposes some inspirations and references which ontology research results provide for TCFL.The second chapter mainly probes into the arrangement of the language item,which is overlapping adjective in the three TCFL textbooks:New Practical Chinese,HSK Standard Course,and Road to Success.After analyzing,the author points out that the arrangements of this language items need to be revised.The third chapter looks into the errors that foreign students made while using overlapping adjectives by analyzing HSK dynamic composition corpora and questionnaire results,and eventually summarizes the main types of errors as well as their causes.The fourth chapter proposes some practical and targeted teaching suggestions for teaching overlapping adjectives in TCFL from the aspects of teaching materials and class teaching,based on the results of this study.It is expected that this research can bring some benefits to the teaching of overlapping adjectives in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
