Mobile Phone Dependence(MPD)is a worldwide public health topic. When the storm of network technology is constantly gestating.MPD groups are gradually younger, teenagers have developed into one of the main forces of Internet users.MPD in teenagers can easily cause negligible negative consequences, especially left-behind children in the phenomenon of "mobile phone with children".Therefore,it is the problem to be investigated in present research that how to suppress mobile phone dependence and explore effective scientific mechanisms to reduce MPD among left-behind children.Recent research demonstrates MPD were close related to parental warmth. However the relationship between parental warmth and MPD should be multiple and complex, and it knows little about the specific mechanism among them.Based on attachment theory and a pathways model of problematic mobile phone use, this study selects parental warmth, peer attachment, and neuroticism as key predictors,MPD among left-behind children as outcome predictors, attempting to examine the mediating role of peer attachment and neuroticism, and exploring a chained mediation model that reduces MPD left-behind children/non-left-behind children through parental warmth.A total of 901 adolescents participated in the study.Of them,446(49.5%)were left-behind children,455(50.50%)were non-left ones. These subjects completed the Mobile Addiction Index Scale(MPAI),Peer Attachment Scale,Neuroticism Scale,Parental Warmth Scale by Self-report,through questionnaire survey of left-behind and non-left-behind children, and difference analysis, mediation analysis and multi-group analysis were conducted on all data,The results showed that:(1)MPD has no significant differences in whether left-behind children.MPD among left-behind children has no significant differences in gender and father education, but significant differences in age and mother education.MPD among non-left-behind children has significant differences in gender and age,but no significant differences in father and mother education.(2)The negative effect of father's emotional warmth on MPD among non left-behind children is significant, but the negative effect of father's emotional warmth on MPD among left-behind children is significant on the fringe.(3)The indirect effect of peer attachment on MPD among left-behind children through parental warmth is significant, but not significant among non-left-behind children, and the indirect effect of neuroticism on MPD among left-behind/non-left-behind children through parental warmth is no significant.(4)Peer attachment and neuroticism have significant chained mediation effects between parental warmth and MPD among left-behind/non-left-behind children.(5)The chained mediation model of left-behind and non-left-behind children has an equivalent structural path, that is,the path coefficients, direct and indirect effects between variables in this model are the same for both left-behind and non-left-behind children. Conclusion and Suggestion:This study found that parental warmth has significant effects on MPD among left-behind/non-left-behind children. On the psychological mechanism among them,Individual mediating role of peer attachment only exists in left-behind children,Individual mediating role of neuroticism exists in left-behind/non-left-behind children, then, the chained mediation role of peer attachment and neuroticism between parental warmth and MPD among left-behind/non-left-behind children, clarifies the inner scientific mechanism of how parents warmth reduce MPD,suggesting that from the family perspective(Using parenting style of warming),peer perspective(cultivating high-quality peer attachment)and individual perspective(reducing adolescent neurotic personality)to achieve the effect of suppressing MPD among left-behind/non-left-behind children.
