A Study Of Wei Su's Prose

Wei Su was a well-known physicist and writer in the Yuan Dynasty.He was born in the family of poems,official books,and courtesy.He later studied under the great Confucianists such as Wu Cheng,Zhu Fan,Li Cun,and became the gatekeeper of Zhu Luzhi.After the recommendation,he entered the career path.He has a good career,all the way from the official to the Ministry of Rites Shangshu,Zhizhi political affairs,Hanlin bachelor.After the fall of the Yuan court,he changed to the new dynasty.Wei Su's life is ups and downs,and his writings are quite abundant.Among the works handed down from the world,most of the prose works are important documents for studying the strangers and their prose creation and artistic characteristics.This article takes Wei Su's prose in Quanyuanwen as the research object,and starts from four aspects:his family life,prose content,artistic characteristics,and prose origin and flow,to conduct a comprehensive analysis and discussion of Wei Su's prose.First of all,from the family history and life of Wei Su,a more comprehensive observation of Wei Su's growth process,his career in school,and the impact of different situations in different periods before and after Wei Su's entry into the profession revealed his influence on his prose creation.Divided Wei Su's life into three stages:the period of reading mountains and forests,the period of officialdom,and the transition to the new dynasty.Secondly,it discusses the content of Weisu prose.There are obvious differences in the prose creation before and after Weisu.Taking the official career as the dividing line,the prose before entering the career was mainly satire,paying attention to the people's livelihood,and addressing the current disadvantages.Prose also provided material for the creation of Yuan Shi.Thirdly,it studies the artistic characteristics of Weisu prose,and intends to start from three aspects:narrative,writing and language arts.Through the analysis of its writing methods,the literary nature of Weisu's prose is demonstrated.Weisu narrative adopts traditional narrative styles:"one-line penetration method","end-to-end method","virtual details",and "interpretation method";the writing method uses a combination of frontal and lateral descriptions to shape the character image;In the art of language,sentence patterns are staggered in length,and rhetoric is often compared with metaphors,parallelisms,and allusions.Finally,trace back to the origins and changes of Weisu prose.On the one hand,the inheritance of the predecessors is discussed from three aspects.In terms of techniques,Sima Qian,a distant learner,has a legendary technique in Historical Records,and Ouyang Xiu has a narrative style.Analyze the inheritance of the predecessors in Weisu's prose creation;literary thought,the lineage of Wu Cheng's Wendao thought;literary style,the inheritance of Taiwanese style in the middle of Yuan Dynasty;The creation of ideas and the leadership of Taiwanese style.By sketching the history of prose in the late Yuan Dynasty and the early Ming Dynasty,we show the role of Wei Su in the Yuan Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty.The concluding section outlines the characteristics of the literature of the Yuan Dynasty,and Wei Su is a member from the end of Yuan Dynasty to the text circle.He has both entered the political and literary circles,and his dual identity makes his prose unique artistic features.
