Study On Changes Of Worker Images In Novels After The New Period

Since entering the new period,the living conditions and mental state of workers have changed greatly with deepening of the reform and opening up.Some responsible writers show us the profound impact of the changes of the times on the workers through shaping a series of workers with distinctive characteristics of the times.This paper takes the image of workers in the novel since the new period as the research object.Based on the close reading of the text,the writer attempts to outline the genealogy and evolution track of the image of workers in the novel since the new period,and analyzes the reasons behind the evolution to grasp the literary and practical significance of the evolution of the image of workers.The article is divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction first defines the definition and scope of the "worker image".On the basis of analyzing the description of the worker image in modern and contemporary Chinese literature,it points out the significance and value of the topic.Secondly,this paper combines the summary of the research results of the image of workers since the new period,this paper expounds the research methods,purposes and ideas.The first chapter focuses on the two words "change" and "confusion" to sort out and analyze the image of workers in the novels of the 1980 s.The first section mainly analyzes the characteristics of the "new hero image" of the working group in the 1980 s.This kind of young workers grows up with "scars".They not only retain the heroism and romanticism in the "seventeen years" literature works,but also breed new characteristics and characters.They play the positive guiding function of "New Socialist People" and are new heroes in the new period.The second section discusses under the background of "reform first" the image of front-line ordinary workers who are the secondary figures compared with the reformers of factory.The third part mainly discusses the real life and emotional pulse of ordinary workers in the changes of times.Writers began to turn from praising the collective spirit to caring for individual life,creating the images of ordinary workers who are confused,helpless and struggling.The second chapter selects two key words "transformation" and "degeneration" to investigate the spiritual outlook and living situation of workers in the novels of 1990 s.The first section analyzes the image of the workers who can still choose to share difficulties with the factory and even make self-sacrifice in front of great changes of enterprise ideology" and "money ideology",and discusses the conventions and influences of the changes of the time context on the characterization of writersfrom the perspective of external factors.The second and third parts mainly analyze from the perspective of internal causes,and the second section discusses the influence of the writer’s intervention in the realistic attitude selection on the image building of workers in the era when the subjectivity can be fully demonstrated.The third section discusses the reasons for the changes of workers’ images since the new period from the perspective of writers’ differently in the new period.The conclusion combs and studies the significance and value of the changes of the image of workers in the novel since the new period,and points out the limitations of the current image of workers,and then analyzes the reasons for the existing shortcomings.This paper aims to provide some valuable reference for the innovation and breakthrough of the image of workers in the future.
