With the continuous development of teaching Chinese as a second language,the teaching of basic language skills are more and more attentioned,Reading skill is a very important step,but in actually reading class teaching,many teachers lack relevant teaching theory and teaching experiences.They teach words by words,sentences by sentences,arranging students to do reading exercise,then checking answers,finally completing teaching,leading students lack the consciousness of independent thinking,accustomed to accept knowledge passively,also lead to the class atmosphere dull.Face this teaching situation.In the basis of scholars using PBL mode do the relevant researches,I use the intermediate oversea students of Zibo vocational college as the teaching objects,trying to apply PBL mode to the intermediate reading course teaching and carrying on the teaching design.Firstly,the author use questionnaire method for knowing the basic information,reading status and the attitude to the PBL mode of intermediate Chinese proficiency students,using the interviewing method and classroom observation way for know the whole reading class learning situation of teaching targets,then analyzing the teaching status and the teaching elements in PBL mode,Then using "female is different from female" and "weibo",these two articles for cases,using PBL mode to make the teaching design,discussing the applicability of the PBL mode in teaching of intermediate Chinese reading course,reflecting the problems existing in the teaching process,then putting forward feasible advice.Through the teaching practice,the paper proves that PBL mode has a good effect in teaching of intermediate Chinese reading course.The oversea students' Chinese reading ability has been improved,also can enhance their interests inChinese reading.However,oversea students' Chinese proficiency,group cooperated learning ability and different cultural backgrounds,all of these factors will influence the PBL mode teaching effect.Teachers also face a series of challenges under the PBL mode,such as creating problem situation,formulating group cooperative learning task,exploring and solving difficult problems.
