The picture of filial piety is an important subject in Han Dynasty stone portraits,among which the images of Dong Yong and Xiaoqin can be examined in a large number,mainly distributed in Shandong,Sichuan,Henan and other places.The author will make a comprehensive comparative analysis of Dong Yong's images from Han Dynasty to Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties.The enlightenment function of "governing the world with filial piety"advocated by Confucianism in the Western Han Dynasty is to publicize the filial piety thought of Confucianism to the world.The original picture of filial piety is an image interpretation for filial piety,which is to guide the ancestors to respect the old and respect filial piety with the combination of pictures and texts.However,as the only figure with specific "immortal identity" depicted in the biography of filial piety,Huagai and lotus related to immortality are mixed in the picture Flower and feathered people and other elements make the image of filial piety cover with mysterious religious color,change its development path,and blur the boundaries of the educational function advocated by "filial"piety.This paper will discuss the theme style and cultural implication in Dong Yong's portrait.First of all,the development of Dong Yong's text is generally summarized by taking the relationship between pictures and texts as the entry point,and Dong Yong's images before Tang Dynasty are sorted out and summarized,the common characteristics of all elements in the images are analyzed,and the changes and differences of Dong Yong's images in Han and Wei dynasties are analyzed from the aspects of carving techniques,image modeling,spatial layout,etc.;secondly,various researches such as iconology and typology are used The research method divides Dong Yong's image into three types of expression forms,and analyzes them carefully to explore the painting characteristics and image styles of Dong Yong's image in different periods because of various factors.Finally,based on the above analysis and consideration of the forms in the portrait,combined with the social and political,religious background and artistic characteristics of the Han and Wei dynasties to try to interpret The deeper "moral meaning"behind the portrait.
