Collocation between words,especially the collocation bcween multi-category words.is the difficulty of second language vocabulary acquisition.The foreigners-oriented Chinese learning dictionaries have a reasonable and effective treatment of collocation of collocation words,which is of great significance for promoting the vocabularies learning of Chinese learners.At present,there arc few studies on collocation from the perspective of learning dictionaries,even less the genre design of multi-category words collocations.This article attempts to conclude the collocational patterns of multi-category words in the large-scale native language corpus,compared with the characteristics of collocational use reflected in interlanguage corpus.Looking back at the gains and losses of current mainstream Chinese learning dictionaries on this issue,we put forward some targeted suggestions to serve the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the part-of-speech tagging of the Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th edition),this article selects eight high-frequency words that can be verb-noun,verb-adjective andverb-noun-adjectivefrom the A and B vocabulary list of the Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Character Grade Outline(revison)as the research object.There are two central tasks in this article.One is to respectively retrieve related collocation examples in the Chinese native language corpus(National Modern Chinese Corpus of the State Council,CCL corpus of Peking University)and the Chinese interlanguage corpus(IISK dynamic composition corpus).And then by means of corpus analysis methods such as collocation terms and colligation,the current dissertation compares the different distributions of the above multi-category words collocations in the native language corpus and the learners corpus,aiming to characterize and analyze the true appearance of foreign students using different types of Chinese multi-category words collocations.The other is to select two influential dictionaries(Contemporary Chinese Learning Dictionary and Commercial Library Chinese Dictionary)as the research objects,This study investigates the effectiveness of current foreigners-oriented Chinese learning dictionaries in the design of collocation of multi-category words,by comparing with the data obtained from the analysis of the real corpus of task one..The study found that the overall collocations used by Chinese learners have both similarities and differences from native speakers'.And there are also differences in the usage rates of typical terms and types of colligations.The foreigners-oriented Chinese learning dictionaries have some debatable points on the collocation of multi-category words.It is necessary to adjust the design arrangement of collocations of multi-category words according to the learner's real language performance and the study equally put forward corresponding suggestions for the improvement of current situation.By using corpus linguistics research methods,This paper attempts to find the real language usage of second language learners with the help of large-scale corpus langguage usage surveys of different natures.It is conductive to evaluating the suitability of foreign-ers-oriented Chinese learning dictionaries as a learning resource.In addition,it also has the universal significance of methodology.The related findings can be contributed to the deepening of the studies on Chinese ontology,the teaching research of Chinese as a foreign language and the research and compilation of the foreigners-oriented Chinese learning dictionaries.
