This paper attempts to start from the beginning of the film,explores the essence of the film,and sheds on the core premise of the pseudo-documentary:fiction and record are not dualistic views.With the introduction of Flaherty's movies as the starting point,a review is presented that several documentary aesthetic concepts and forms that have a significant impact on pseudo-documentary,providing sufficient theoretical soil for the concept analysis and formal expression of pseudo-documentary.On this basis,this paper discusses the development and definition,category and extension of pseudo-documentary,and discusses the three forms determined in the process of pseudo-documentary exploration by combining the case and text originally.Then the paper reveals the relationship between the characteristics of three types of paradigms,the film makers' intention,and the forms of expression.Finally,the construction of reality in contemporary pseudo-documentaries is re-examined in the light of the characteristics of contemporary media and through the eyes of the public. |
