Woody Allen, as the America genius director in the movie industry, he has the intellectual temperament, but also has the USA humor.Most of his movie`s theme are around the problems of emotion, belief, morality, fate, deathspread, and these problems have plagued the people in modern society.Since "Annie Hall", his films show a every hue of female image,they encounter different setbacks in the real life, some from their emotion,some from their home, while others from their own. The female image shaped by Woody Allen not only show the different characteristics of the women` performance in the real life of confusion and annoyance, but also reveals the women in the patriarchal society of the social status and otherness.This paper is divided into five chapters to evplore the unique artistic value of Woody Allen’s films` female image. The fifth chapter mainly analyse the techniques of artistic innovation in Woody Allen’s films which was used in expressing the female image.Throughing analysing the female image of Woody Allen’s films, which can devote to reveal the women’s identity and status of the film and television play, and to explore the deep social significance and cultural connotation behind these female image.
