"Dream of Red Mansions",one of the four great masterpieces in China,also known as "The Story of the Stone","The Twelve Treasures of Jinling ","Record of Love Monks",etc.And the 1987 version of the TV series "Dream of Red Mansions" became a classic of Chinese TV series when it was broadcast.Wang Liping’s musical works for “A Dream of the Red Mansion”,especially his vocal works,left an indelible memory for the audience and was widely sung by the world.Every piece of work written by Mr.Wang Liping for "A Dream of Red Mansions" is irreplaceable,and it is an insurmountable classic in film and television music.This article first introduces the TV music of "A Dream of Red Mansions",and then introduces its episodes "A Windy and Rainy Evening by the Autumn Window" and "Farewell to my dear daughter".After that the author analyzes the singing skills of the two interludes,including the timbre,the enunciation,the decorative sound and one of the Chinese traditional opera singing skills.At the end,the author explores the "Pathos" color vocal works in these two interludes.The author hopes that through exploring the singing of these two interludes,people can better understand their unique artistic characteristics and more accurately grasp its style.
