The Song Dynasty was an era of drastic changes in Chinese society.During this period,all aspects of society have undergone tremendous changes.In order to adapt to a completely different social environment,establish a corresponding ethical norm and social order,the scholars launched a huge Confucian revival movements in the middle and late period of earlier Song Dynasty,and transformed the traditional Confucian concept.As a part of traditional Confucian ethical concept,the view of femal was also changed accordingly,In the middle and late period of the earlier Song Dynasty,the concept of women's morality in the view of femal of the scholars is based on the Confucian traditional concept of women's virtues,adding some self-idealized opinions,such as further emphasizing women's chastity and suppleness,the overall tone does not occur.the most significant change was the view of female morality.The traditional view of female morality was divided at this time,some scholars emphasized women's morality,they thought women's cultural talents might effect women's morality or promote women's morality,and their fundamental footholds are all placed on women's morality.At the same time,there are also some scholars had the diferent opinion,they still showed a positive and appreciative attitude towards women's cultural talents.They believe that women's cultural talents will not affect women's morality.Although the idea of valuing morality over talent and even anti-talent had limited influence at that time,it was inherited by later scholars and became the basis of anti-sexual tendencies in the female concept in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,has a profound impact on women.
