The National Curriculum English Learning Scheme,which was fully implemented in the fall of 2014,is the current curriculum document for primary and secondary schools in the United Kingdom that "must abide by the law".As the "core knowledge outline" of the English curriculum and the "knowledge benchmark necessary for qualified and educated social citizens",the document focuses on the "intellectual tradition and discipline logic" of the English subject and embodies the "thought of the subject expert"."experience and knowledge","knowledge is no longer an objective existence from the life of students",the trend of British national curriculum reform is obviously different from our country's judgment of subject knowledge since the 21 st century: abandon too much emphasis on knowledge.The traditional school education,which emphasizes the interest of students and the enhancement of research learning ability,is the quality education.The reasons include different social development,different educational circumstances,different problems,but also co-existing in the same era,they all belong to the similarities of mother tongue education.In particular,the English curriculum reform in British primary and secondary schools has strengthened the subject knowledge and demonstrated another way to construct the core literacy of the mother tongue subject.In addition,the construction of the core literacy of the Chinese subject in our country is still in its infancy.Looking at Britain,it gives us cognitive impact in many ways to expand the space for further thinking about Chinese curriculum reform in China.In conjunction with the 2008 version and The background and content of English National Curriculum in 2014 are compared,and the performance of strengthening subject knowledge of English National Curriculum in 2014 is described and analyzed in order to provide enlightenment and help for the reform of Chinese curriculum in China.The content of this paper is mainly composed of two parts: introduction and text.The preface expounds the reason and significance of the topic,the present situation and deficiency of the research,the research methods and the concept.The text consists of four parts.The first part summarizes the origin of British national curriculum and the course of English curriculum reform in primary and secondary English countries in Britain since the 20 th century,and summarizes the characteristics of curriculum reform in English language countries.The second part is an introduction to the English National Curriculum Learning Scheme of English for Primary and Secondary Schools in 2008 and 2014,respectively,from the background,content and characteristics of the two versions of English curriculum.The third part is on the 2008 edition and 2 This paper focuses on the analysis and comparison of the English National Curriculum Learning Scheme in English primary and secondary schools in 014,mainly from the following four aspects: curriculum structure,curriculum objectives,curriculum content and curriculum evaluation.It is found that the current trend of curriculum reform in British English countries shows the following characteristics: curriculum design highlights subject knowledge;The curriculum aims at events,skills and procedures;curriculum content focuses on declarative and procedural knowledge;and curriculum evaluation focuses on the next stage of student learning.The fourth part summarizes the enlightenment to the construction of the core literacy system of Chinese subject according to the characteristics of the current curriculum reform in British English countries.
