With the deepening of the internationalization of Chinese international education and the expansion of the scale and number of international students,the academicadaptation of international students has been increasingly concerned by universities in Yunnan.The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the factors that influence the academic adaptation of international students in southeast Asia.Through the study on the academic adaptation of southeast Asian undergraduates in Kunming,this paper analyzes and compares various factors affecting the academic adaptation of southeast Asian undergraduates,including two dimensions(individual and environment).The individual level includes specific dimensions such as learningmotivation,learning attitude,learning ability,learning methods,language level,self-cognition and psychological status.The environmental level includes learningenvironment,school teaching,school management and social relations.This study conducted a questionnaire survey and interview on southeast Asianundergraduate students to understand the influencing factors of their academic adaptation.For factor analysis results,the southeast Asian foreign students to study in different professional,different nationalities,different gender,different Chinese language level,learning Chinese time,funding sources,and degree of understanding of university of academic adapt to have a significant impact,and different ages,different grade,the different cross-cultural experience of abroad experience,whether to have academic adaptation no significant influence.From the Chinese university students management and teaching,as well as southeast Asian students themselves on how to help students better adapt to study,the paper put forward a number of Suggestions.including: strictly enforce the teaching of the college in distributary teaching rules and regulations,give full play to the incentive of scholarship system,improve school management level,perfect the school hardware,improve students a single way of learning resources utilization,cross-cultural training for students of colleges and universities of Chinese as a foreign language teachers should focus on southeast Asia students individual difference,and so on.
