Research On “Universerty Trilogy” Of Zhang Zhe

Beginning with the modern construction of Chinese literature in the late Qing Dynasty,the discussion and speech on intellectual issues has always been one of the objects of cultural focus.Especially since the 1990 s,the all-round modernization transformation of Chinese society brought about by the entry of the market economy.Concerning for the intellectuals' own destiny,and thinking about the entire cultural context,the creation of novels that using intellectuals as aesthetic objects is also unprecedentedly prosperous.Zhang Zhe,the young and middle aged writer who worked quietly in the literary world,he has completed the creation of the “University Trilogy” for 13 years.They are Tao Li,Tao Hua and Tao Yao.He showed the reader a complete picture of the complex context of the transition era,the survival mode and spiritual choice of campus intellectuals.The “University Trilogy” also expresses of Zhang Zhe profoundly humanistic concern and unique value thinking as an elite intellectual.This thesis is based on Zhang Zhe's the “University Trilogy” as the research objects,excavating the continuity and variability within the three texts from “Tao Li” to “Tao Hua”and “Tao Yao”,analyzing the mental dilemma and embarrassing situation faced by intellectual groups in a complex external environment,searching the unique spiritual connotation and aesthetic care of the intellectuals written on Zhang Zhe's schoolyard.The paper is divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction part gives a basic introductionan of Zhang Zhe's creative path.It also discusses the research status of Zhang Zhe's the “University Trilogy”.Then it points out the achievements and shortcomings,and put forward the purpose and innovation of this thesis.The text is divided into three parts.The first part combs the continuity between the texts of the “University Trilogy”.Through the method of text reading,the three novels of “Taoli”,“Taohua” and “Taoyao” are take the law as a clue and shows the present situation of blending of campus and social life.The three novels which performed the campus intellectuals indulge into enjoyment,chasing the materialistic life.Through their daily life writing,Zhang Zhe explained the equally embarrassing times dilemma faced by intellectuals seeking to break through different roads.The second part explains the transformation within the text of the “University Trilogy” of Zhang Zhe.The three novels explored a generation of people starting from youth and gradually entering the middle-aged spiritual fission,showing the living conditions of campus intellectuals at different stages.They experienced emotionally betrayal,and the final return.In the choice of value,it has moved gradually toward the social conscience to stick to.The “University Trilogy” attempts to place intellectuals' social responsibility and conscience expectations in secular society,which is also the breakthrough and redemption of Zhang zhe's survival of intellectuals.The third part mainly discusses the “University Trilogy” which not only continues the modern and contemporary literature on the writing of intellectuals,but also opens up the language of the current intellectuals with its own unique perspective.In terms of ideological connotation and artistic form,Zhang zhe made bold attempts and innovations in his intellectual writing.The conclusion examines the achievements and shortcomings of Zhang Zhe's “University Trilogy” from a broad perspective,and puts forward expectations for Zhang zhe's novel creation.
