On Xiao Xue's Poetry

Xiaoxue is a famous contemporary bai poet,essayist and literary critic in China,especially in poetry.Xiao Xue's poetry writing creation career as long as several decades,published a large number of poems and it's own unique style characteristics.On the one hand,his poems reflects his tracks,emotions,ideals of life,literary ideas and other aspecters,on the other hand,they also reflect the life style of many ethnic minorities in southwest China,especially the lives of the bai people liveing in the Cangshan Bohai area.This paper adpots the method of close reading of the text,comprehensively reads Xiaoxue's poems,collect relevant materials,combines Xiaoxue's childhood memories,growth experience,work experience,literati friends,literary origins and other situations,and makes a systematic study of Xiaoxue' poems from the poetry connotation,artistic characterristics,ethnic element and so on.The full text is divided into four parts: introduction,text,conclusion,appendix.The introduction first summarizes the reasons for the topic selection.Then clarifies the significance and value of the research.Finally,it sorts out the existing research status and achievements of Xiaoxue's works,and points out some weak links in the current research on Xiao Xue's works,especially her poetry.The text consists of three chapters.Chapter one analyzes the connotation of Xiaoxue's poetry.After reading Xiaoxue's poems comprehensively,his poems are classified into five categories: praising the great motherland,reciting great rivers and mountains,telling folk stories,depicting the national customs,and praising the true love.In the process of analyzing various poems,this paper briefly summarized the creation stage of Xiaoxue's poetry: 1956 to 1966,1979 to the present.The second chapter summarizes and analyzes the three artistic characteristics of Xiaoxue's poems on the basis of predecessors: simple language,unique imagery,and distinct themes.Xiao Xue's poetry creation tine is particularly long,as long as several decades,but its language simple and fresh,clear and clear,and love and beauty theme of the bright unity has never changed.In addition,this paper systematically analyzes the yunnan plateau image system in Xiaoxue's poems for the first time,and focuses on three core images.The third chapter analyzes the national elements in Xiao Xue's poetry.As a Bai poet,Xiao Xue first inherited the outstanding elements of the Bai culture,and then absorbed the nutrients of the Han nationality and other minority cultures.This is closely related to Xiao Xue's personal literary concept.Previously,scholars focused on the analysis of the Bai ethnic elements in Xiao Xue's poems.This chapter not only systematically analyzed the bai ethnic elements in Xiao Xue,but also analyzed the Han ethnic elements and other ethnic minorty elements.
