Responsible behavior has always been one of the goals of school personality education.Responsible behavior refers to how individuals take their responsibilities in specific responsibility situations and bear the consequences if things go wrong.The junior high school stage is the key period for character development.In the research of the field of responsibility,there are few studies on responsibility of junior high school students,especially from the perspective of responsible behavior.Studies have shown that achievement goal orientation affects individual behavior;individual achievement goal orientation can be influenced by context.Teacher’s transactional leadership style is an important situational variable in the class organization environment.According to social cognition and social information processing concept,it can influence the attitude,behavior and motivation of individuals in the environment.To this end,based on the perspective of social cognition theory,this study explores the impact of achievement goal orientation of junior high school students and teacher’s transactional leadership style perception on the responsible behavior of junior high school students from the perspective of internal and external factors affecting responsible behavior,in order to provide evidence basis and guidance for cultivating the responsibility behavior of junior high school students,and provide inspiration for the choice of teacher leadership style.This paper carries out three researches around this goal:responsibility-taking situation through reading tasks with the reading time and notes as the responsibility behavior indicators is created,and theimpact of achievement goal orientation on responsibility behavior in the responsibility-taking situation is discussed in Research 1.The results show:(1)In responsibility-taking situation,the group of mastery goal orientation has longer reading time and more notes than the group of performance goal orientation.A field study is conducted in Research 2.On the day of release of the mid-term examination scores,a questionnaire survey is conducted to the junior high school students who face the situation of responsibility taking(they fail to achieve the predetermined learning target),the characteristics of responsibility behavior and the influence of achievement goal orientation on junior high school students’ responsibility behavior are discussed.The results show:(1)In responsibility-taking situation,there is a difference in grades in the responsible behavior-Grade 1 has higher responsibility taking than that of Grade 2.The differences in other grades are not significant.(2)In responsibility-taking situation,Compared with the performance goal oriented group,the mastery goal oriented group has higher responsibility.Responsibility-taking situation through the imagination test is created in Research 3,and influence of achievement goal orientation of junior high school students and teacher’s transactional leadership style perception on responsibility behavior of junior high school students is further explored.The results show:(1)In responsibility-taking situation,the group of mastery goal orientation has obviously higher responsibility taking thanthat of group of performance goal orientation.(2)In responsibility-taking situation,the perception of teacher’s transactional leadership style affects the relationship between achievement goal orientation and responsibility performance.Compared with the teacher’s transactional leadership style perception,group of mastery goal orientation has a lower responsibility performance when teacher’s transactional leadership style is perceived to be high.The conclusions obtained through the above researches are as follows:(1)In responsibility-taking situation,junior high school students of mastery goal orientation have more responsible behaviors than those of performance goal orientation.(2)In responsibility-taking situation,there is a grade difference in the responsibility behavior of junior high school students.Grade 1 has higher responsibility performance than that of Grade 2.(3)In responsibility-taking situation,mastery goal orientation is positively related to the responsibility behavior.Junior high school students of mastery goal orientation are less afraid than those of performance goal orientation to take responsibility.(4)Teacher’s transactional leadership style perception adjusts the influence of situational achievement goal orientation of junior high school students on responsible behavior.
