A Glimpse Of The Independent Value Of Youth Film From The Youth Identity

At present,domestically produced youth films often show the trend of “supply oversupply and quality in short supply”.Film creators are eager to seize the cinema market and ignore the unique value of youth films compared to other types of movies.Erik H Erikson believes that “self-identity”runs through all stages of personality development.Adolescence is the most crucial period for the establishment of self-identity.Adolescent groups need to construct a relatively stable self-identity,gradually narrow the gap between ideal self and real self,and lay a foundation for better integration into the adult world in the future.Youth groups faced with clear self-positioning important development tasks,However,the overall creative environment of the current youth film pays too much attention to the utilitarianism of the youth symbol,and lacks the thinking and construction of the consciousness of youth identity;The academic research on the independent value of youth films also needs to be strengthened.In response to the above questions,the author,under the guidance of the self-identification theory and the introspective spirit of Chinese traditional philosophy,takes the self-created short film of "Secret Seventeen" as an example.This paper explores the consciousness of the construction of youth group identity under the type creation standard,and then explores the independent value of youth film creation.This paper will explore four aspects.The introduction section clarifies the motivation,significance,and research methods of the topic;The first chapter is to position the works from the perspective of vertical film history,focusing on the general neglect of youth identity in the industry from the characteristics of youth film types;The second and third chapters are the horizontal development of the narrative and video viewing of the "Secret Seventeen".The second chapter through the follow-up and conscious transformation of the type of script,linking the narrative tense with contemporary society,narrative word order and youth perspective,narrative structure and plot causality.Focusing on analyzing the type of character shaping and consciously reflect on the“self-identity crisis”faced by different youths.And understanding the essence of Chinese traditional philosophy in lens design,highlighting the importance of self-examination in the youth independent multi-view field.Through the progressive interpretation of "Secret Seventeen",it is finally clear that:The creators of youth films should first adopt a youthful vision and consciously enter into the youth identity,thus highlighting the independent value of youthful works.
