The brilliant creativity of William Shakespeare makes his drama works a hotspot in the world literature.Numerous scholars have studied Shakespeare's dramas from different aspects but few articles are about the narration structure.Based on the profound influence of Bible on Shakespeare's creation, the thesis selects one of the classic tragedies of Shakespeare,Hamlet,as the major research text and Bible as a supplementary text,to analyze the structure of Hamlet from the perspective of biblical “U” narration style. The purpose is to discover the narrative charm of Hamlet,in addition,to further demonstrate the influence of Bible on Shakespeare's creation,at the same time,to shed a new light on the research of narration structure in Shakespeare's drama works, which is helpful for readers to discover the commonality and profoundness in Shakespeare's plays. The Canadian literary critic Northrop Frye proposed the U-shaped narration structure theory in his study of Bible: A series of misfortunes and misunderstandings brings the action to a threatening low point, after which some fortunate twist in the plot sends the conclusion up to a happy ending.Taking the U-shaped narration structure as the theoretical basis, the thesis analyzes the structure in Hamlet from three aspects including Hamlet's fate, the destiny of Kingdom Denmark and the theme. At the same time, the comparison between Hamlet and Bible is included to identify their commonality. From personal fate to national destiny, and eventually to the theme of the play, the analysis on the narration structure of them has identified the U-shaped narration structure in Hamlet as well as the positive value orientation of this tragedy.Hamlet was created in the time when the feudal oppression aggravated, telling a story of the dark royal conflict. But at the end of this story, the murderers paid for their crime, the villain got punished, and the salvation finally came. The positive value orientation reflects the humanistic care in the play. The influence of Bible on Shakespeare's creation has faded the tragedy color in Hamlet.
