Under the tide of globalization,the cross-cultural communication of film and television cultural products has become an irresistible trend.At present,China’s domestic animation industry a good momentum of development,production of animation products have soared,the story content,form,production technology,etc,have a qualitative leap,however,to compete in the international market,compared to Europe and the United States animation film is still limited in the influence of domestic animation film,in this kind of competition in the global culture,the development of Chinese animation industry be solved problem is by volume big to strong quality.The Academy Awards are professional film awards organized and awarded by the academy of motion picture arts and sciences of the United States,aiming to encourage the creation and development of excellent films.The annual awarding ceremony of the Academy Awards is not only a great event of the film industry,but also the focus of global attention.In February 2019,official media such as the People’s Daily microblog and the xinhua microblog also reported the winners of the Academy Awards and introduced short animated films that have been shortlisted or nominated for oscars in China.It shows how influential it is.This paper attempts to study the cross-cultural communication of oscar-winning animated feature films,and through multi-angle and in-depth analysis of the commonness and characteristics of award-winning animated films in story content and text creation,puts forward the enlightenment to the cross-cultural communication of domestic animated films.The research content can be roughly divided into the following aspects: in the first chapter,the cross-cultural communication of animated films and the general situation of oscar-winning animated feature films are briefly introduced.Chapter two and chapter three explore the role and performance of symbols in the cross-cultural communication of animated films from a micro perspective.The fourth chapter,from a macro point of view,analyzes features of award-winning films;The fifth chapter,combined with the above analysis conclusions,summarizes the advantages of domestic films in cross-cultural communication and puts forward Suggestions.
