The attributive structure, one of the common grammatical structures in Chinese and Russian languages,is frequently used and of diverse semantic relationships. In both spoken and written media,a rich use of attributives will add more accuracy and vividness to the language expressions. In terms of the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, learners of Russian-background made a considerable number of errors in using various types of fixed attributive structures, often failing to convey their meanings. Therefore,a special effort should be made on the use of the attributive structure in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.By comparing and contrasting the constituents and semantics of the attributive structure in both Chinese and Russian languages, this thesis found that the marked difference lay in the word sequence and the structural auxiliary word ‘de”,which should require of teachers adequate attention and emphasis in teaching and teaching material research.Having examined and sorted out the attributive structures in "Boya Chinese",a Chinese language textbook used for international students, this thesis set up a knowledge framework of this structure which was believed to be an effective reference for teachers to fix teaching objectives and procedures.Teaching research should also pay attention to the actual language learning of the learners. In light of the Russian-background learners, this study analyzed statistically the actual errors of this structure and the causes for these errors. Finally, this thesis put forward,in combination with previous research achievements, suggestions for Russian background learners to learn the attributive structure. |
