In the summer of 2017,the iQiyi video website launched a large-scale hip-hop culture communication program “The Rap of China”.At the beginning of 2018,Youku Video website launched “Street Dance of China”.The two programs that spread hip-hop culture belong to the competitive reality show.There are 24 programs in two programs,which spread hip-hop culture through two different types of hip-hop elements: rap music and street dance.This hip-hop boom spread rapidly among the youth groups and has a wide impact on the youth group.Hip-hop culture began to appear in the eyes of mainstream media and popular culture,sparking heated discussion among the media and the public.This Paper uses content analysis and text analysis to study the network media presentation of the Hip-hop culture based on the relevant theories of postmodernism.Using the content analysis method,the hip-hop culture image and characteristics presented in “The Rap of China” and “Street Dance of China” are sorted out.By encoding the subject categories and other content,the image of the hip-hop culture presented by the network media is summarized.: Enthusiastic about self-expression and personality characteristics,emphasizing the spirit of innovation,team spirit of youth culture;online media through the hip-hop group's clothing modeling,language expression and music type and other stylized construction,get the youth audience identification.The study found that the hip-hop culture presented by the online media has changed from the subculture of the Birmingham period and has the characteristics of post-modernism culture.In the third part of the thesis,this paper uses text analysis method and film narratology to study the narrative strategy of network media communication hip-hop culture.It summarizes the process of network media presenting hip-hop culture,deconstructing traditional film and television narrative,diversification,fragmentation,etc.Characteristics of postmodernism.This paper discusses the reasons why online media presents hip-hop culture,analyzes the causes of this phenomenon from the perspectives of society,media and culture,and finds that network media disseminates youth subculture because: the network media as new media has the advantage of youthful audience.And under the influence of postmodernism,China has a consumerism lifestyle and concept,and the media culture appearing in the production of online media has begun to appear commercialized.Finally,in the context of postmodernism,the new dynamics and related issues brought by online media to the spread of hip-hop culture,that is,to provide new living space,enhance vitality,and gain the right to speak;the emergence of commercialization,value confusion and media Like "to explore and propose countermeasures for the healthy development of hip hop culture.I hope that there will be some inspiration for the dissemination and development of youth subculture,and be wary of relevant problems in the process of network media communication.
