Research On Visual Design Of Festival Events Based On Grotesque Style

In the era of culture and art blooming,grotesque style has been widely used in various fields for its unique creativity and attraction,which has attracted wide attention from both the practitioners and the scholars.However,grotesque style abuse and misuse are serious phenomena.The era of entertainment also intensifies people' demand for offline activities,thus all kinds of festival and special events come into being.However,festival events in our country is still a relatively young field,its visual design is still lack of systematic research.This paper finds that the grotesque style and the festival visual design complement each other and have great fusion and research value.Therefore,the paper tries to use the festival visual design to express the bizarre culture from the perspective of the festival visual design.In order to improve the creativity and appeal of graphic design,visual design of festival events is guided by abnormal artistic techniques of grotesque style.Firstly,through the analysis of the literature and other materials,together with the author's self-experience,this paper discusses the characteristics and definitions of the grotesque style in the context of this new era,clarifies the value of the grotesque,and analyzes its composing skills.Then,this paper analyzes the grotesque image,reveals the characteristics of the grotesque image and summarizes its composition method.Finally,this paper applies the theoretical results and combine it with the visual design of festival events to design the performance.Taking the event time as a clue,this paper analyzes the influence of visual design on participants from the aspects of publicity,development and end of the event.Through the analysis of the audience,the content of the activity is determined,and a series of visual designs are carried out by using the bizarre composition techniques.By combining with the festival activities of the venue,planning and crowd,this paper tries to present a more comprehensive research design.
