English cooperative learning in rural middle school under the perspective of educational ecology is the needs of social development and curriculum reform,the requirements of national English curriculum(2011 version)and the needs of English teaching in rural middle school.The basic idea of teaching in educational ecology is to organize classroom teaching with integral,biotic and developmental teaching view and to respect students' subject status,which is basically consistent with the requirements of English teaching in the new curriculum.Therefore,this study introduces educational ecology into English cooperative learning,and explores the practical application of English cooperative learning in rural middle school from the perspective of educational ecology.In order to test the effectiveness of cooperative learning in English language teaching in rural middle school from the perspective of educational ecology and to improve students' English levels in rural middle school,the author chooses students of Class One and Class Two in Grade Nine in S Middle School of G city as research subjects.Class Two is the experimental class which carries out cooperative learning in English class,and Class One is the control class which receives traditional English teaching.The author carries out the experiment through English tests,questionnaires and interview.In the process of experiment,the author applies cooperative learning to English class in rural middle school from the perspective of educational ecology.The author uses social clustering and Allee's principle to divide students into groups,creates harmonious and ecological English classroom environment,and gives an example of using the theory of educational ecology to guide the application of cooperative learning in English class.The results of this study show that with the guidance of the theory of education ecology,cooperative learning has a positive impact on English teaching.It not only can stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in learning English,build up their confidence in learning English,but also can improve students' English grades,and cultivate their awareness and skills of team work.
