A Study On Tiejing And Literature In Imperial Examination Of The Tang Dynasty

This paper studies the relationship between Tiejing and literature in the imperial examination of the Tang Dynasty from four aspects,combing Tiejing from the perspective of the history of Imperial examination system,Tiejing and literary writing,Tiejing and poetry allusions,Tiejing and prose changes,so as to promote studies on the basis of previous research.The first chapter is the basis of this paper,it systematically combs the evolution of Tiejing in various subjects of imperial examination in the Tang Dynasty.Tiejing widely exists in Mingjing,Jinshi,Taoju,Mingfa,Mingshu,Mingsuan,etc.Tiejing was stable in the imperial examination of the Tang Dynasty since its establishment.The second chapter discusses the relationship between Tiejing in the imperial examination and literary writing in the Tang Dynasty.In this chapter,two cross sections are selected for discussion,which are related to the relationship between Tiejing and literature in the evolution of imperial examination Tiejing in the Tang Dynasty.The appearance of "redeeming Tiejing by poems" reflects the decline of the status of Tiejing in the three examinations of Jinshi test.Behind the transformation and maintenance of the Dahe Reform,there are complex political struggles and social factors.The third chapter discusses the relationship between the imperial examination Tiejing and poetry allusions in the Tang Dynasty.The candidates' accumulation of corpus in the preparation for Tiejing examination enters poetry composition,the formation of the skills of poetry composition is mainly based on allusion usage,involving Confucian and philosophical classics which are related to Tiejing,and this kind of allusion usage achieves certain rhetorical effect.The fourth chapter discusses the relationship between the imperial examination Tiejing and prose changes in the Tang Dynasty.Tiejing and the emphasis of classical education behind Tiejing guide candidates to prepare for the examination,which has an important influence onthe formation of literati values and article outlook.In the early and flourishing Tang Dynasty,Confucian classics were unified and rhythmical prose style was the mainstream.In the mid-Tang Dynasty,the spirit of suspicion of classics in the field of Confucian classics and the scientific atmosphere of seeking new and practical knowledge jointly promoted the perfection of ancient prose theory and the climax of ancient prose movement.In the late Tang Dynasty,the ancient prose gradually disappeared and rhythmical prose flourished.
