Since its establishment,the Red Cross society of China has always taken "charity and compassion for the armed forces" as its operational guideline.After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War,the Red Cross society of China adjusted its organizational structure in good time.And comprehensive at the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War broke out of Yan’an,underserved sanitation reality,makes for foreign medical assistance is very urgent,in the communist party and the request of the anti-Japanese national united front,ambulance corps has sent medical teams and medical care and epidemic prevention unit to Yan’an,the arrival of these professional medical personnel,to improve the yen an behind in the early years of the war has made a great contribution to medical conditions.At the same time,under the strong inspiration of humanitarianism and internationalism,foreign doctors and medical organizations such as Bethune and the Indian medical aid team in China also came to work in Yan ’an under the guidance of the ambulance corps after coming to China.Smedley and soong ching ling,who were closely associated with the Red Cross society of China,also used their influence to provide as much humanitarian assistance as possible to Yan’an.The connection between Yan ’an and the Red Cross movement of China during the period of full-scale Anti-Japanese War is highlighted by the humanitarian aid provided to Yan ’an by the Red Cross society of China itself and the people or groups associated with it.The research on Yan ’an and the Red Cross movement in China during the Anti-Japanese War can make up the gap of the Red Cross movement in the battlefield behind enemy lines to some extent.At the same time,it can also enrich the research results of the Anti-Japanese War,and carry forward the spread of the local Red Cross culture in Yan’an.
