An Analysis Of The Reform Of The Format Of Contemporary Chinese Paintings

In the long history of the Chinese nation,there have been a variety of classic frame formats,such as vertical shafts,strip screens,long scrolls,group fans and albums.These traditional forms of frame that we once proud of are now no longer active because of the loss of practical value,and others cannot be applied to the display of modern space environments.Contemporary Chinese paintings have seen many new forms of frame that are different from tradition.After the reform and opening up,the format of Chinese paintings in the exhibition hall has changed from "square" to "big".The Chinese paintings in the home decoration have become "small",and the forms such as screens and albums have gradually changed their original appearance.A wide variety of possibilities.The differences in modern architectural space,the influence of Western art,the exchanges with other art forms,and the changes in contemporary aesthetics,many changes in the modern environment have prompted the traditional format of Chinese painting to have to undergo innovative changes,otherwise It has been eliminated by the times,or has been assimilated by other art forms and lost its unique appeal.This paper analyzes the current situation of the transformation of contemporary Chinese painting format and the various factors that promote its transformation.It is not easy to create a format that adapts to the new era.There is no ready path to go.Can not blindly pursue unconventionality,only seeking surprise in form,can not abandon tradition,completely out of the traditional format of the frame.It is necessary for the contemporary people to fully understand the new needs of the new era environment for the form of Chinese painting format,continue to practice and explore on the basis of understanding the changes of the predecessors,boldly absorb the advantages of other art forms,and still have to withstand the precipitation of time and reality.
