The body is the carrier of human life.The body in the movie has a rich meaning.The body rhetoric in Chinese left-wing movies in the 1930 s was unique and closely related to the times.Through interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research methods,this paper attempts to return to the historical space and time of China in the 1930 s,combine the theory of film art with the socio-political,economic,and cultural construction of the left-wing period,and approach the historical truth of Chinese left-wing movies as much as possible.This paper focuses on the grand revolution and the discourse of the national discourse on the body of the left-wing movies,so as to open up the complex relationship between physical rhetoric and society,politic,economy and culture.This article divides the body rhetoric of Chinese left-wing movies in the 1930 s into four parts: disease,lust,hunger and death.The first chapter analyzes the disease rhetoric of Chinese left-wing movies in the 1930 s from the perspective of social reality and family ethics.The second chapter studies the lust rhetoric of left-wing movies from the perspective of construction of sexual concepts,and the body's distinct inclination of individualism and collectivism.The third chapter explains the hunger rhetoric of the left-wing films on the physiological and spiritual attributes.The fourth chapter discusses the death rhetoric of left-wing movies from the perspective of collective dedication and individual care.The fifth chapter points out the meaning and value of the body rhetoric of the left-wing film.
