Research On The New HSK 4 Backwash Effect On "Hanyu Jiaocheng"

In recent years,the number of international students coming to China has grown rapidly,and the size of Confucius Institutes has become larger.In order to meet the needs of Chinese learners for Chinese testing,the National Hanban Office launched a new HSK in 2009.As a national examination to measure the Chinese level of Chinese as a second language learner,the role of the new HSK examination has attracted more and more attention.Since the 1990s,the backwash effect has attracted the attention of many scholars,so far,the backwash effect is still a hot research field.The backwash effect of language test refers to the influence of test on the teaching and learning of language,which is usually translated as "Backwash" or "Washback" in Chinese.In recent years,scholars have carried out extensive and in-depth researches on the backwash effect,using these advanced backwash effect theories to provide many suggestions and inspirations for language teaching and testing,among which,most of scholars focus on the effect on students and teachers,but researches on the backwash effect of HSK on teaching textbook are rare.Textbook is an important teaching prop in the teaching process,which is directly related to the outcome of teaching and learning,and the choice of teaching textbook is very important in Chinese teaching.Zhao Jinming believes that with the evaluation of teaching textbook,we can analyze the situation of Chinese teaching textbook,find the gap to the other teaching textbook of the second language in the world.Also,the evaluation criteria provide the way to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of a textbook to improve its quality.This paper focuses on the analysis of the "Hanyu Jiaoheng",and tries to analyze the coverage of the examination syllabus from four angles of vocabulary,grammar,topic and task with scientific theories and statistics on related data,and makes an in-depth study on the coordination degree of the teaching textbook,and points out the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching textbook.And come up with suggestions to improve"Hanyu Jiaocheng" in order to make the textbook better when using in teaching.
