The paper takes " Hanyu Jiaocheng ",a set of teaching materials which suits forthe learners whose mother tongue or the medium language is Russian, as the researchobject, using the related theories in and abroad. It analyses the text, vocabulary,grammar, exercise,culture etc, together with the questionairs given to the teachers.The purpose of the paper is to analyse that whether the books are suitable forintensive reading and students’ need.The paper is consist of four chapters and conclusion. The first chapter is theIntroduction, which tells the aim of the research and the analysis methods. Chaptertwo is a brief introduction of the textbooks “hanyu jiaocheng”. Chapter three is theevaluation of the books, which is the main part of the paper. According to the resultsof the evaluation, the writer offers some suggestions about it. Chapter four is theanalysis of the queationaire, which is an affiliated part of the paper. The conclusionpart gives a brief summary of the whole research.Through the evaluation of the books, we draw the conclusions below.(1)The textand the vocabulary conluded in the books are suitable for the learners,but it can bearranged in a more reasonable way.(2) The number of grammar mentioned in eachlesson is not scientific enough, however, the level of the grammar chosen are suitableand fit different learning level.(3) We advise that Chinese culture be shown in aseparate section in primitive learning period, while in advanced period, it can beshown in the text.(4) The exercise section is very good with various questions invarious levels.(5) The pronounciation is not the main part that we want toanalysis,so we just conunted the number and the teaching order of it.(6)Through thequeationairs from the teachers, we find that the teachers speak highly of the exercisesection, while they give low marks on the learning theory part and the learningmaterial part.According to what is mentioned above, the advantages and disadvantages of thetextbook will be found. Hopefully, it will not only aid if the textbook is revised, but itwould also contribute to the compiling of the intensive reading textbooks alike.
