| The forged sutra are the products of the Buddhism’s sinicization and secularization.They show the combination of the spread of Buddhism and local folk beliefs,religions and traditional culture in a certain period and region.Accordingly,the study of forged sutra has important value.Most literatures unearthed in Khara-Khoto are Buddhist scriptures,including some Apocrypha,most of them are Chinese version,some of them are Tangut version.These precious materials are not only an important part of Chinese forged sutra,but also have great value in Tangutology.Especially the Apocrypha of tangut version,through the translation of tangut language,reflects the acceptance and understanding of Buddhist culture in Xixia society,which is an important perspective for observing Xixia society.The paper will talk about eight forged sutra in Tangut language discovered in Khara-Khoto,which are:Fo shuo Shi wang Jing,Fo ding xin guan shi yin pu sa da tuo luo ni Jing,Fo shuo fu mu en zhong Jing,Fo shuo yan shou Jing,Fo shuo lai sheng Jing,Gaowang Guan Shi yin Jing,Fo shuo bai sheng yuan jie jie tuo luo ni Jing,Fo shuo ba yang shen zhou Jing.The paper also give interpretation and textual research of their editions and searching their origin.The contents contain three parts.First,translated the Tangut forged sutra which have not studied into Chinese.Second,give the description,statistics and comparative analysis of some substantial sutra.Third,by comparing several Tangut forged sutra with the relevant Chinese texts,the paper will analyse the evolution of Tangut forged sutra in the process of spreading And then,seek the original text of Tangut forged sutra. |
