| Chinese ceramic culture has a long history,in which fan culture also condenses the cultural heritage of China for thousands of years.With the development of society and the change of people’s concept,the aesthetic function of fans has been paid more and more attention.In particular,many artists will use the form of fans to express their artistic concepts.Therefore,the connotation and cultural elements of fan culture are worth exploring.In the eyes of ceramic designers for daily use,the external formal language or internal spiritual connotation of fans undoubtedly become inspiration for design.This paper regards fan element as the creative idea of graduation design.Firstly,it traces back to the cultural history of fan element,then lists the application cases of fan element in painting,calligraphy,sculpture,landscape architecture and other arts,and explores the application of fan element in ancient and modern daily-use ceramics.Finally,through the presentation of design examples,it is concluded that fan element can provide some inspiration for modern daily-use ceramics design. |
