"Ji" Art Symbols In The Application Of A Household Ceramic Design

In this project,the principle of homophonic symbolic semiotics was used to study the auspicious symbol of "chicken".The inspiration was provided via analyzing and summarizing the design rules of the applications of chicken elements in plane and ceramic art.The relationship between the connotation of artistic symbols and visual form is summarized,and the transformation methods of design techniques and artistic forms are summarized.Based on it,an aesthetically daily-use ceramics with chicken elements was designed.It extracted the main features of the chicken and simplified the overall shaping.The product included the element of bionics,folk lucky words(Kou Cai),etc.The features of modernization and minimalist made the product attractive to the new generation.such design not only brought more diversities to the product,but also promoted our excellent folk traditional art culture.
