A Study Of Translation Literature In The Supplement Of Morning News

Since the reform of the Supplement of Morning News in February 1919,it has actively promoted the development of Chinese new literature.In addition to publishing a large number of new literary creations,it has also translated many extraterrestrial literary works.The Supplement of Morning News was issued for ten years.After three major editorial periods,Li Dazhao,Sun Fuyuan and Xu Zhimo,each editorial period showed different characteristics due to differences in personal personality,editorial philosophy and literary context.This article takes the translation and introduction literature of the supplement of Morning News as the research object,and explores the characteristics it presents in different editing periods.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main part of the thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly presents the translation status of the supplement of the Morning News from February 1919 to July 1920.This period was edited by Li Dazhao and belonged to the initial period of the supplement of Morning News.The translation focuses on the selection of Russian and French realist works.Novels and poetry are the main contents.The number of theoretical translations and extraterrestrial literatures is at this timeless.The second chapter mainly analyzes the characteristics of the translation of the Supplement of Morning News from July 1920 to September 1925.This period was mainly edited by Sun Fuyuan and belonged to the prosperous period.The translation literature was characterized by diversification.First of all,the translation of the works bears fruitful results.The novels,poems,dramas,fairy tales and other genres have received comprehensive attention.Secondly,the literary and artistic trends and literary theories have been well-received.Finally,the evaluation of extraterrestrial literature has prospered.The third chapter mainly discusses the translation characteristics of the Supplement of Morning News from October 1925 to June 1928.During this period,Xu Zhimo was the chief editor and belonged to the final stage of the development of the Supplement of the Morning News.During this period,the translated works were collected by famous masters,and extraterritorial literature review articles are professionally enhanced,the enthusiasm for the translation of foreign literary thoughts and theories was not as good as before period.
