Conversing Parts Of Speech In Translation

This translation practice report is based on the translation of The Thirty Years' War.In the process of translating,the biggest problem encountered is that the translation is not smooth and thus difficult to understand.In order to make the translation easy to understand,faithfully express the original information and conform to the Chinese expression habits,employing conversion skills is particularly important.The paper is based on the conversing parts of speech,which is used to solve the problem that the expression of the translation does not conform to the Chinese expression.The author mainly analyzes conversion of parts of speech from three aspects: from dynamic to static,from static to dynamic and from abstract to concrete.This report includes four parts.The first part is the overview of the task,including the background and significance of the task.The second part introduces the task process,which includes the preparation before translation,the translation process and proofreading after translation.The third part is the case analysis,the kernel of the report,in which the author classifies the strategies of part of speech applied at the translation text and makes a further analysis about the classification of the strategies.The last part is the conclusion,which mainly introduces the experience and gains of this translation practice.
