The "有" sentence which has abundant semantic functions and structures,is one of the most commonly used sentence patterns in Chinese language.In teaching practice,we noticed that Thai students have a relatively high error rate in the "有" sentence,and the error situation is also complicated.The research of this paper focuses on intermediate level Thai students.On the basis of predecessors’ research,this paper summarizes the "有" sentence from various aspects,such as definition,semantic functions and structures.By collecting and sorting Thai intermediate level students’ compositions,this paper investigates their error situation of "有" sentences,classifies the errors,and analyzes the causes of the errors.On the basis of error analysis,this paper puts forward some teaching principles and teaching methods about teaching "有" sentence to Thai intermediate level students.I hope that this study can provide some reference about "有" sentence teaching and studying for Thai intermediate level students.This paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter is an introduction which mainly introduces the reasons of choosing this topic,the status quo of the ontological study and errors research about "有" sentence.This chapter also explains the research techniques and sources of the corpus.The second chapter is mainly about the error analysis of the "有" sentence of Thai intermediate level students.In this chapter,we count the usage and errors of the "有" sentence in the corpus,and classified the errors into six types: Missing Error,Mis-order Error,Misadding Error,Mis-use Error,Error of "有...是…" Structure,and Negative Form Errors of "有" sentence.Then,we analyze such errors one type by another.The third chapter analyses the characteristics of "有" sentence as well as compares Chinese language and Thai language.From these perspectives,this paper summarizes four reasons for the "有" sentences errors of intermediate level Thai students: Negative Transfer of Mother Tongue,Complexity of "有" sentences,Factors of Learners,Factors of Classroom Management and Factors of Teaching.The fourth chapter is the suggestions on teaching.Basic on the different types and reasons of error,we put forward three teaching principles of "有" sentences: Principle of Gradual Progress,Principle of Focusing on Comparison,and the Principle of Briefly explain with More Practice.We also designed some teaching methods about "有" sentence for actual class.The last part is the conclusion of this paper,which summarizes the new findings and existing problems of the study.
