Chinese character culture has a long history,extensive and profound.Chinese characters are the carrier of language and contain Chinese historical and cultural factors.Chinese character teaching has always been the focus and difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.For Thai students,it is generally acknowledged that Chinese characters are not easy to learn.How to enhance the interest of Chinese characters,let students understand the cultural knowledge of Chinese characters,easy and efficient learning is worth thinking about.However,As an intuitive teaching tool,simple strokes are vivid and easy to operate,which can enable students to grasp the knowledge quickly and conveniently and enhance their memory.As a supplement to the teaching language,the teaching of simple strokes is conducive to mobilizing students'perceptual thinking,cultivating students'imagination and observation,giving full play to students'subjective consciousness,tapping students'talents and potentials,thereby improving learning efficiency and cultivating students'good learning habits.Based on the advantages of the teaching of simple strokes,the author believes that combining the teaching of Chinese characters with the teaching of simple strokes can give full play to the advantages of both.Integrating words into pictures strengthens the image of words.The combination of pictures and texts will make the classroom distinctive,lively and interesting.Therefore,according to the teaching content and teaching objectives of the school,this paper is based on hieroglyphs and combines the teaching methods of simple strokes.Let the students comprehend the relationship between pictures and characters from the change of Chinese characters,and then feel the infinite charm of Chinese characters culture.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.This paper expounds the feasibility of the teaching of simple brushwork in Thailand from three aspects:the reason for choosing the topic,the value of research,the current research situation and limitations,the research methods and innovative points.The second part is an overview of the teaching mode of new characters and the teaching of simple strokes.It studies the necessity and possibility of simple strokes in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The third part is the investigation and analysis of the teaching mode of new characters in simple strokes.The author takes the fourth to sixth grade pupils of Worraraj Wittaya School as the subjects of investigation.Questionnaires and interviews were used to investigate students'opinions on the teaching of simple strokes.Students give feedback on the teaching effect of simple strokes.The fourth part is case teaching,which mainly analyses the classroom process of the teaching of new characters with simple strokes in the form of cases.The teaching cases of new characters can be divided into six categories:astronomy,geography,animal,plant,human body and architecture,which reappears the real classroom situation,and explores the typical examples of the teaching of new characters with simple strokes in depth.The fifth part is the comparison of the teaching of new characters in simple strokes,mainly based on the author's two teaching experiences in Thailand.Taking Prengwisutthathibodee School and Worraraj Wittaya School as examples,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences of the teaching of new characters in simple strokes,and explores the possible influencing factors.The sixth part is the practical analysis of teaching results,summarizing the successful experience and future improvements,and putting forward pertinent suggestions.
