Research On Off-Farm Work Music Since New Period

In 1978,the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee officially opened the door of China's Reform and Opening up,opened a new chapter of China's development.Following this,hundreds of millions of agricultural population continue to pour into cities,and social migration phenomena such as "off-farm work fever","peasant workers tide" and "return tide" occur frequently,resulting in a group of peasant workers with dual identity attributes,who continue to contribute to the modernization,industrialization and urbanization of the country.Compared with social contribution,the social contradiction of peasant workers is sharpening,the cultural life is scarce,and the urgent needs of music can not be met.It is urgent to form a new music theme and discourse research,so as to provide music strength and theoretical support for the cultural service work of off-farm workers,the equalization of public culture,and the construction of a harmonious society."Off-Farm Work Music" is such a brand-new music theme and discourse.The theme of the music is "off-farm work",with peasant workers as the main audiences,pop music as the practice of music,music creation can be divided into "bystander" and "experienced" two forms,reflecting the daily life of off-farm workers,emotional changes,urban integration,identity construction,and the growth of children,etc.It is an important music phenomenon that is taking place in today's society.This paper combines the diachronic and synchronic research methods to study the "Off-farm Work Music" from four aspects.Firstly,with Abrams' four literary elements as a reference system,this paper analyses the cultural and social context,creative subjects,object attributes and the audience of peasant workers,forming the definition of "Off-farm Work Music".Secondly,combined with diachronic and synchronic research methods,and based on the theory of music sociology,this paper combs and sorts out the diachronic context and evolution of "Off-farm Work Music" and divides it into three important periods: germination,maturity and deepening.Thirdly,on the basis of combing the history,the author grasps the rich ideological theme and pluralistic aesthetic style of "Off-farm Work Music" with the creators and workssuch as "youth off-farm art troupe",and analyses the connotation of its various textual structures with typical works such as "twelve months of working".Finally,it analyses its social and cultural value as a whole from the social function level.
