| In recent years,with the rise of team creativity research,more and more attention has been paid to the role of leaders in the process of team creation.Most studies focus on the influence of leadership style on team creation,but there are few studies from the perspective of leadership thinking mode.The Confucian doctrine of Zhongyong thinking is one of the most far-reaching thinking for the Chinese people.It affects people’s behavior as a way of thinking and value of life.Therefore,in order to better understand the relationship between leadership and team creativity and its mechanism,it is important to explore the relationship between team leadership and team creativity from the perspective of leader thinking.The first research is a related research,which examines the characteristics of team information sharing,team atmosphere in the natural condition,and the relationship among different levels of leader’s Zhongyong thinking,information sharing process,team atmosphere and team creativity.In study 1,a three-person team was randomly formed,and team leaders were chosen freely within the team.Then complete a team creativity task and fill in the corresponding questionnaire after the study.The intermediary variables selected in the first study are team atmosphere(atmosphere,conflict)and information sharing(sharing quantity,category,information elaboration).The results show that integrative thinking promotes team creativity by information elaboration.The non-cognitive path hypothesis of "leader’s Zhongyong thinking-team atmosphere-team creativity" has not been confirmed.Study 2 uses the problem situation to prime the leader’s Zhongyong thinking,and further tests the causal relationship between the leader’s Zhongyong thinking and team creativity.The results showed that compared with the control group,the team creativity novelty score of the Zhongyong thinking group was much higher.In terms of information sharing process indicators,the number of information sharing and the degree of information elaboration in the priming group were higher than those in the control group.the leader’s Zhongyong thinking improves team creativity by promoting the amount of information sharing and the information elaboration. |
